Evaluation of Applications

v  Priority ranking for placement will be: 1-TR-YÖS, 2-Other national/international university entrance exams, 3-High school graduation exams and certificates, 4-High school diploma grade. Candidates’ scores will be converted to a 100-point system according to the priority list, and ranked starting from the highest score down to candidates with at least 70 points. If quotas are not filled, candidates will be ranked based on high school GPA, down to 60 points for associate degree programs and 70 points for undergraduate programs. If quotas remain unfilled, candidates with TR-YÖS scores of at least 200 will be accepted according to priority ranking.

v  Grades outside the 100-point system will be converted according to YÖK’s 100-point scale.

v  A student may apply to a maximum of 5 (five) different departments/programs; however, they can only be placed in one.

v  Applications to academic units admitting students through special talent exams will be evaluated according to the regulations of those exams.

v  The number of candidates admitted from the same nationality cannot exceed 10% of the program’s quota. If quotas are not filled, this country quota will not apply.

v  The commission will announce the number of primary candidates equal to the declared quota of the unit. Reserve candidates may also be announced if deemed necessary.

v  Online application acceptance and rejection will be handled by the Student Affairs Department; evaluation and placement will be conducted by the evaluation commission.

v  Applications not meeting the requirements will not be evaluated. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee placement.

Announcement of Results

v  Placement results will be announced on the university’s website on the dates specified in the registration calendar below.

v  For the acceptance letter to be sent to the candidate, the tuition fee must be paid. The acceptance letter will be sent to the candidate’s email address once the tuition fee is paid. Candidates may also obtain the acceptance letter from the application page.

v  Candidates must pay the deposit fee through the same virtual POS system when they come to register at our university.
